FUNKY RADIO keeps a tight promise: only funk music, drawn from the genre's defining decades, the 1960s and 1970s. The playlist is built on syncopated basslines, wah-wah guitar, horn stabs and dancefloor grooves, from raw early funk through the polished disco-adjacent sounds that followed. It is a specialist stream for listeners who want the classic funk era served straight, without later pop crossovers diluting the groove.
