Fresh 92.7 is Adelaide’s volunteer-powered community station for young people, broadcasting under the call sign 5FBI. It first went to air on 17 March 1998 under a temporary licence — winning a full-time licence in 2002 — and built its reputation on electronic and dance music that commercial stations were not playing.
