Galway's student voice since 1995, Flirt FM broadcasts on 101.3 FM from the University of Galway campus. It launched on 28 September 1995 under the IRTC's community pilot scheme, originally on 105.6 FM, and moved to 101.3 when it received its current licence in 2006. Run by College Campus Radio DAC with volunteer student presenters, it is one of only three full-time FM student stations in Ireland. Programming champions student issues, new Irish music and local sport, with a proudly alternative playlist you won't hear on commercial radio.
