Energy FM began broadcasting on 27 July 2001 and has grown into the Isle of Man’s national pop station for a family audience. Its Chart Hit Radio format blends current hits with favourites from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, backed by local news bulletins through the day. The station is heard across the island on six FM frequencies, including 98.6 MHz from Carnane and 91.2 MHz from Snaefell.
