East Coast FM serves County Wicklow from Bray, where it first went on air on 25 October 1989. Its roots run deeper: it began as the unlicensed community pioneer BLB — Bray Local Broadcasting — in 1984, was licensed as Horizon Radio in 1989, and later merged with south Wicklow's Ezy103 to become East Coast Radio. Today, owned by East Coast Radio Ltd, it reaches the Garden County and its environs on 94.9, 96.2, 99.9, 102.9 and 104.4 FM, mixing local news, talk and music.
