From its Gaborone studios, Duma FM reaches well over half the country with a bilingual mix of conversation and adult contemporary music. The station went on air at the end of 2007 as a national broadcaster rather than a capital-only one, and its schedule balances talk and music in roughly equal measure. Broadcasting about sixty percent in English and forty percent in Setswana, it prides itself on fair, accurate news and remains the sole private station offering Setswana-language news bulletins.
