Dublin's FM104 launched in 1989 as Capital Radio before adopting its famous name, and it has been one of the capital's biggest hit music stations ever since. Now part of Onic, the News UK & Ireland group, it targets younger Dublin listeners with chart music, entertainment news and major competitions. Its long-running breakfast programme, the Strawberry Alarm Clock, is a Dublin institution, while the station's presenters and street teams are a constant presence at gigs and events, keeping FM104 at the centre of the city's youth culture.
