Deeper Shades of House grew out of DJ Lars Behrenroth's long-running show and label of the same name, devoted to deep house in its purest form. The stream favours soulful, jazzy and Afro-inflected house over commercial EDM — long blends, warm grooves and vocals with feeling. It has become a reference point for deep-house devotees worldwide, carrying the sound from underground clubs to a 24-hour online home.
