Cruize FM — 'Cruize Taranaki' — is an independent New Plymouth station on 105.2 FM with a deliberately different recipe: classic tracks remixed, feel-good tunes, and a minimum of ads and DJ self-indulgence. Local music is the point of difference: the station plays more than 250 tracks by over 90 Taranaki musicians, every hour, around the clock, and promotes hundreds of community events free of charge. It is an upbeat, generations-bridging alternative to the networked mainstream, streaming online as well as across Taranaki.
