Cork's RedFM is the hit music station for Cork city and county, broadcasting on 104–106 FM since its launch on 14 January 2002. Now part of Bauer Media Audio Ireland, it targets younger listeners with chart music and big local personalities — most famously The Neil Prendeville Show, the city's dominant morning talk programme. RedFM is deeply embedded in Cork life, from local sport coverage to its championing of Leeside events and charities.
