Clonmellon Community Radio is the volunteer-run internet station of Clonmellon, a village in north County Westmeath. Broadcasting online rather than on FM, it gives this small rural community a voice of its own, with local music, chat, interviews and notices reflecting village life. Like other Irish community stations, it operates on a not-for-profit basis and holds its programming to the standards of the Broadcasting Act and Coimisiún na Meán codes. For locals at home and former residents now living abroad, it offers a direct line back to the people and stories of Clonmellon.
