This Classical Radio channel is devoted to a single ensemble: the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra of Munich, founded in 1949 and led since 2023 by chief conductor Sir Simon Rattle. It plays the orchestra's recordings across the symphonic repertoire, from the era of earlier chief conductors such as Mariss Jansons to the present day.
