The Evergreen Channel is the HD2 companion service of Classical KING FM 98.1 in Seattle — the Pacific Northwest's listener-supported classical station, on air since 1947 and now run by the non-profit Classic Radio. Where the main channel offers full works and hosted programmes, Evergreen (since rebranded as Calm by Classical KING) plays an unbroken stream of gentle, melodic classical favourites from the Baroque to the Romantics, lightly hosted and designed for relaxed, work-friendly listening.
