Behind this stream stands Moscow's Radio Classic, which broadcast on 100.9 FM in the Russian capital from 2003 until 2014 and has continued online ever since. Its signature is classical crossover: familiar symphonies, concertos and opera favourites alongside classical works in modern arrangements, instrumental and electronic 'new classical', plus musicals and film themes. It is an easy, melodic entry point into the classical repertoire rather than a strict academic format, streamed on radioclassicfm.ru.
