Big 101.1 is Barrie's classic rock station, broadcasting as CIQB-FM and owned by Corus Entertainment. Its roots go back to CKBB, which signed on in 1949; the station moved to FM in November 1994 as B101, then flipped to classic rock on July 29, 2016, launching Big FM with Peter Gabriel's 'Big Time.'
