Every year since 2008, Christmas FM has returned to FM frequencies across Ireland for the festive season, including 105.2 FM in Dublin, under a temporary 30-day licence. Run by around a hundred volunteers, the station plays Christmas music around the clock while raising money for charity — more than €3.5 million to date, with 100% of listener donations going to its chosen appeal partners. Outside December, the festive mix continues online all year round.
