Calling itself 'the world's chillout channel', Chilltrax is an independent, commercial-free web station run from Miami by the Electronic Music Radio Group. Its downtempo, electronica and chillout sets are chosen by human musicologists rather than algorithms, and the station makes a point of championing emerging electronic artists — names like Röyksopp, Bonobo and ODESZA — alongside established favourites. The result is a polished, globally heard stream for listeners who like their electronic music horizontal.
