CBC 94.7 FM is the FM voice of CBC Radio, the flagship service of the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation at The Pine, St. Michael. The service began on 16 December 1963 as Radio Barbados, the country's first wireless radio station, and its FM outlet was relaunched on 29 May 2010 playing the greatest hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s and today. Branded «The Caribbean's Best Connection», it pairs that music with hourly news updates and major newscasts, and is simulcast on 900 AM.
