Broadcasting on 91.3 MHz from Kampala, Capital FM is the English contemporary hit station that helped invent private radio in Uganda when it launched on the last day of 1993. Founded by Patrick Quarcoo and William Pike, it combines chart music and entertainment with serious talk, including the long-running Saturday Capital Gang. The station now sits within Kin Kariisa's Next Media group, alongside Beat FM and KIIS FM.
