Launched at 4pm on 1 October 2020, Capital Dance is Global's national digital spin-off from Capital, billed as the UK's official dance station. Its launch presenter was MistaJam, who left BBC Radio 1 after 15 years to host the drivetime show and the Capital Weekender. Broadcasting on national DAB and via Global Player, it plays current dance anthems and club mixes from artists such as Calvin Harris, Disclosure and Duke Dumont.
