Brian FM on 91.4 brings the network's no-DJ format to Wānaka and Central Otago. True to its slogan of playing what we feel like, it serves an unpredictable blend of adult contemporary and classic rock without announcers, broken only by its trademark short, tongue-in-cheek commercials for local businesses. Brian FM stations dot provincial New Zealand, and the Wānaka signal gives lakeside listeners and visitors a music-first alternative to the big network brands, with the Southern Alps as its backdrop.
