Brian FM on 91.2 has served Whanganui since 2014 with a proudly unconventional promise: playing what we feel like. The station uses no DJs at all, instead rolling an unpredictable mix of adult contemporary and classic rock, punctuated by short, dry, ad-libbed commercials that have become its signature. Part of a small independent network spread across provincial New Zealand, Brian FM Whanganui keeps the focus on the music and local advertisers, broadcasting from the Landguard transmitter to the river city.
