No music, no voices – just the Amazon waking up. Brazilian Birds Radio streams the natural sounds of Brazilian birdsong: layered calls, chirps and rainforest ambience recorded in the wild. The channel belongs to the Swiss-based 1.FM online network and goes back to a concept created by the São Paulo new-media company Som S/A, which built the stream as a small refuge of nature in the middle of digital noise. Listeners use it for relaxation, concentration, sleep or as a gentle background at home and in spas. A slow, green counterpoint to everything else on the dial.
