Beat 102 103 is the regional youth station for Ireland's South East, covering Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary from studios outside Waterford city. Launched in 2003, it was Ireland's first regional youth licence and the pilot for the network of regional stations that followed. Aimed squarely at 15–34-year-olds, Beat plays chart and dance hits with strong local content, and its flagship breakfast show has made it a dominant force in the region.
