BBN — the Bible Broadcasting Network — has aired traditional Christian music and Bible teaching since Lowell Davey put its first station, WYFI in Norfolk, Virginia, on the air on 2 October 1971. Now headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, the listener-supported network sells no airtime and streams in eight languages. Its Spanish service carries that same mix of hymns, sacred music and verse-by-verse teaching to the Spanish-speaking world, around the clock.
