This BBC Sounds stream carries the BBC's rolling news audio, delivering the latest BBC News and World Service bulletins around the clock. BBC Sounds itself launched in October 2018, replacing BBC iPlayer Radio as the home of BBC live radio, podcasts and on-demand audio. The news feed brings together regular five-minute bulletins and summaries from the BBC's global newsroom, and this 96k version is simply the stream at that bitrate for online listening.
