Arrow FM 92.7 is Wairarapa’s community access station, based in Masterton and broadcasting across the Wairarapa Valley on 92.7 FM. Its first programme went to air on 2 March 1986, and it has remained a true access station ever since — local people making their own shows, from Samoan and Filipino community programmes to poetry, local news, school broadcasts and specialist music. Run with community support, Arrow gives minority voices in Masterton, Carterton and Martinborough airtime no commercial station would offer.
