Angel Radio is a community station with a difference: it makes nostalgia programming specifically for older listeners. Based in Havant, Hampshire, and also serving the Isle of Wight, it plays vintage music from the early 1900s through to the 1960s, together with big band, light entertainment and reminiscence features. Run largely by older volunteers, it deliberately preserves styles of broadcasting and music rarely heard elsewhere on UK radio.
