Broadcasting online from Kingston, Ontario, Ancient FM is devoted entirely to the music of the medieval and Renaissance periods, roughly from the 1100s to the 1600s. Chant, madrigals, lute music and early polyphony play with no announcements and no commercials. It is a rare web station aimed squarely at early-music enthusiasts.
