Amsterdam Funk Channel is an online station from Amsterdam built around one groove: funk. Around the clock it serves up funk, soul and disco classics from the seventies and eighties alongside the smoother R&B sounds that grew out of them, mixed with themed shows from the city's funk scene. There are no chart countdowns or news bulletins, just basslines, brass and wah-wah guitars in a continuous stream. AFC.fm positions itself as the capital's home for listeners who think modern pop radio forgot where the rhythm went.
