Ambient Lounge is one of the genre channels carried on MixLive.net, an Irish-run online radio platform offering a family of mood and genre-based streams. As the name suggests, this channel is devoted to ambient and lounge music — slow, spacious soundscapes, downtempo grooves and chilled electronica designed for relaxing, working or unwinding. There are no presenters or news bulletins, just a continuous flow of calm music available anywhere with an internet connection. It is aimed at listeners who want an unobtrusive background soundtrack, whether for a café, a home office or a quiet evening in.
