Agidigbo 88.7 FM is Ibadan's self-styled «people's voice», launched on 25 March 2021 by journalist and human rights advocate Oriyomi Hamzat. Broadcasting in Yoruba, English and Pidgin, it leans heavily into talk, and its family arbitration programme Kokoro Alate has become a grassroots institution in Oyo State. Hamzat, who had earlier run the station online before a 2020 fire gutted his studio, was the first broadcast journalist in Ibadan licensed to own a station.
