Actual Radio is a community-focused station serving Colchester and north Essex in England. Broadcasting online and on DAB in the area, it combines local news, travel and community information with a broad mix of popular music. Community radio in the UK is licensed by Ofcom to serve a defined locality, and Actual Radio follows that model, giving Colchester voices, events and businesses a presence larger regional stations rarely provide.
