Absolute Radio 80s is Bauer's decade station for the 1980s, launched in December 2009 as the first of the Absolute spin-offs. It plays the era end to end — synth-pop and New Romantic alongside stadium rock and one-hit wonders from Duran Duran, a-ha, Bon Jovi and Madonna. Broadcasting on DAB and online, it became one of the UK's most popular digital-only stations.
