Abend Radio does something no traditional classical station can claim: every piece it plays was composed by artificial intelligence. The stream generates calm, evening-toned classical music — piano and orchestral textures in a familiar tonal language — without human composers, performers or a back catalog of recordings. Named for the German word for evening, it is aimed at relaxed nighttime listening, and it raises an honest question as you listen: does it matter that no one wrote this?
