Sydney’s ABC local station broadcasts on 702 AM, carrying the call sign 2BL — one of the first licensed stations in Australia, on air since 1923. Across the day it mixes Sydney news, weather and traffic with talkback, conversation and live sport, anchoring the ABC’s presence in the harbour city.
