ABC Radio Brisbane is the ABC’s local station for Queensland’s capital, broadcasting on 612 AM and tracing its history back to 4QR, which first went to air in 1925. Its day blends local breakfast and drive talk, news and talkback with statewide Queensland coverage of weather, sport and emergencies. During floods and cyclones it serves as a key emergency broadcaster for south-east Queensland.
