Guardian Radio 96.9 FM, broadcasting as ZNGR-FM from Nassau, made history on 10 April 2012 as The Bahamas’ first and only all-news and talk station. Run by the Guardian Media Group alongside The Nassau Guardian newspaper, it fills the day with interactive shows on politics, business, health, sports and community issues under the slogan «Fresh News, Smart Talk, All Day!». Beyond its New Providence signal, it is carried nationwide on Cable Bahamas Channel 969 and BTC Flow Channel 612, and rebroadcasts BBC World Service programming overnight and on Sundays.
