ABC Radio Sydney is the ABC’s local station for the harbour city, heard on 702 AM. Its callsign, 2BL, dates back to 1923, making it one of Australia’s earliest licensed radio stations, and today it delivers Sydney news, talkback, sport and emergency information to listeners across the metropolitan area.
