620 WTMJ is Milwaukee's heritage news and talk station, broadcasting at 50,000 watts by day on 620 AM and on an FM translator at 103.3. Its call letters stand for The Milwaukee Journal, the newspaper that put it on the air in 1927; today it is owned by Good Karma Brands. Weekdays mix local news blocks and talk with heavy sports coverage — WTMJ is the flagship radio home of the Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks, and has carried the Green Bay Packers since 1929.
