Broadcasting from the Shetland Islands — about as far north as British radio gets — 60 North Radio takes its name from the latitude line that runs past the isles. Launched by Promote Shetland with a 12-hour Midsummer Live marathon from Lerwick in June 2016, it mixes local presenters, Shetland music and conversation with an eclectic playlist. This FLAC stream suits its audiophile touches: island life, northern skies and music with room to breathe, beamed worldwide from 60 degrees north.
