50's Science Fiction, part of the KOTR old-time radio streams, replays the golden age of radio science fiction — introduced with the proud boast that it carries the best of grown-up sci-fi on radio. The rotation centres on NBC's X Minus One (1955–58) and its predecessor Dimension X, dramatising stories by Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov and Robert A. Heinlein. Crackling broadcasts, rocket-age sound effects and Cold War wonder, exactly as first heard seventy years ago.
