The Mix, from the 100hitz network of online channels, blends three decades of hits into a single upbeat stream: 1980s favourites, 1990s pop and rock staples, and today's chart music in one continuous rotation. The idea is familiarity without predictability — a Madonna classic can give way to a current hit, then a nineties singalong. It is mainstream pop radio in its most concentrated, web-native form.
