100.9 Port Stephens FM is a volunteer-run community station based at Salamander Bay, serving the Port Stephens area north of Newcastle. Its first test transmission went out on 1 April 1993 and it has held a full-time licence since July 1998, mixing music from the sixties to today with local news, weather and community announcements.
