Mirrorballs at the ready: 1.FM's Disco Ball channel strings together the dancefloor classics of the 1970s and 1980s without a break. From Chic, Donna Summer and the Bee Gees to Earth, Wind & Fire and early-80s boogie, the playlist sticks to the years when disco ruled the clubs, with a few funk and soul gems in between. The channel belongs to 1.FM, the online radio network run from Baar in Switzerland, whose many genre streams broadcast in English to a worldwide audience. No DJs, no talk – just glittering retro dance music, all day and all night.
