Classic Country Radio is the country channel of 1.FM, the Swiss online radio network from Zug that operates dozens of free internet music channels. As the name suggests, the focus is on the golden decades of country music: honky-tonk, outlaw country and the Nashville classics of artists such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Dolly Parton and George Jones. Rather than current chart country, the station celebrates the songs that defined the genre, streamed online around the clock without talk or moderation. It is made for country traditionalists — in Switzerland, across Europe and worldwide — who want their country music classic.
