Voice of the South China Sea is China Radio International's multilingual service for the South China Sea region, launched on 9 April 2013 as China's first broadcaster dedicated to the area and its neighbouring countries. It broadcasts in Mandarin, English, Vietnamese, Malay, Filipino and Indonesian; on FM it reaches Hainan on 89.1 in Sanya, 102.0 in Qionghai and 101.0 in Sansha, with shortwave carrying its programmes further across Southeast Asia.
