Serving Assiniboia and south-central Saskatchewan at 98.1 FM, CIAT-FM signed on March 15, 2019 as “Cat Country 98” — the first local commercial radio station in Assiniboia. Owned by Huber Radio, it built its schedule around country hits together with local news, agriculture and community programming for its rural audience. In April 2021, the station also became the first in Saskatchewan to broadcast in HD Radio.
