Broadcast from Bern, Bear Metal Radio calls itself 'the home of the finest metal' – and its playlist backs that up. Around the clock, the English-language web station serves heavy metal in its classic forms: NWOBHM and power metal from bands like Iron Maiden, Saxon and Helloween, progressive metal from acts such as Symphony X, plus hard rock staples. There are no charts and no compromises, just riffs, twin guitars and soaring vocals. Listeners can leave greetings in the station's online shoutbox between the tracks.
