Banter FM is an Irish online radio station built around good company as much as good music. True to its name, the emphasis is on chat, craic and light-hearted entertainment mixed with popular songs, creating the feel of a friendly local show that listeners can drop into at any time of day. Broadcasting over the internet rather than FM, it reaches audiences in Ireland and among the diaspora worldwide. With little in the way of formal scheduling or heavy news commitments, Banter FM keeps things informal and upbeat — a station designed to feel like a conversation with friends, soundtracked by familiar hits.
